In mid April, Miami Racket Club hosted the inaugural MRC Invitational—a tournament that wasn’t just about winning matches, but about reshaping what competitive tennis can look and feel like in Miami.
Set against the timeless backdrop of the historic Biltmore Hotel, the Invitational brought together 80 players across five divisions, all competing in Miami’s only hard court tournament, for a combined $10,000 in prize money. But the tournament was more than the numbers. It was about energy, excellence, and intention.
At every turn, the level of competition set the tone. Matches were fiercely contested, with players pushing each other to the edge, bringing a level of intensity and focus that elevated the entire experience—for players and spectators alike.
To complement the level on court, the player and spectator experience was carefully curated.
Custom player kits, built in collaboration with our brand partners, welcomed competitors with thoughtful details and functional design.
Hospitality partners elevated the sidelines, offering food and beverage experiences that matched the vibrancy of the setting.
Tennis Plaza, a cornerstone of the Miami tennis community, lent their support in a way that reminded everyone why local partnerships matter.
Throughout the weekend, the Biltmore’s historic setting offered more than just beautiful courts—it gave the Invitational a sense of permanence, a feeling that something lasting was being built.
As always, this wasn’t just about hosting a tournament. It was about setting a new pace for the game in Miami.
A pace where competition and culture move together.
A pace where hospitality, design, and community aren’t extras—they’re the standard.
To the players, spectators, and partners who helped bring this vision to life: thank you.
You’re helping us build what’s next.
