The All Miami Tournament: Connecting the Tennis Community

Amateur tennis in Miami deserves better. Too often, tournaments mean long waits, bare-bones hospitality, and a can of balls passed off as a “welcome.” That’s not the Miami way.
Enter The All Miami Tournament powered by On - a new take on what local tennis can feel like. Together with Gui Cunha (@guitennis) and Miami Racket Club, we set out to design a one-day event that gives players the speed, energy, and atmosphere they deserve, while creating a real platform for the city’s tennis community.
The Format
On Saturday, September 13 at the Biltmore Tennis Center, 80 players across seven divisions (3.0 – 4.5) will compete in single-set, single-elimination matches. For those ready to turn it up another level, an 8-player winner-take-all Open draw offers a shot at $750 in prize money—proof that even local competition can carry a pro-level edge.
Minimal downtime, quick matches, and a chance to rep your club or coach keep the format fun, fast, and team-spirited.
The Experience
Hospitality is where All Miami breaks the mold. DJ Mad Linx commentated matches and DJ'd the event. Every player receives a custom player kit worth $150+, filled with exclusive gear and goods from partners including On, Yonex, LMNT, AG1, Dunlop, Celsius, Huella Coffee, and Tennis Plaza.
Food and drinks from local favorites will keep everyone fueled, while Complex PT is on site to make sure bodies are ready for the next match. And when you’re not on court, the player lounge becomes its own scene, with music, conversation, and plenty of room to connect.
The Atmosphere
This is as much about community as it is about competition. Tennis in Miami has always been about energy, personality, and connection - and that’s exactly how the day ends. After the finals, players and spectators gather for a happy hour to toast the winners and close out the day under the lights.
Why It Matters
For too many, tennis becomes about grind, rankings, or the professional ladder. All Miami is about rediscovering why we fell in love with the game in the first place. Play hard, connect deeper, and have fun doing it.
All Miami isn’t just a tournament. It’s tennis reimagined for Miami.
