The Player Challenge
Our flagship program, the Miami Racket Club Player Challenge is a reimagined singles flex league that brings Miami's tennis community together through real competition, curated experiences, and premium rewards from great brands. Open to every competitive player in the city, and is the front door to becoming a member of Miami Racket Club.

The Experience
The Player Challenge is a reimagined singles flex league, built around three things: elevated competition, curated experiences, and premium rewards. Every match is scored, and the leaderboard updates daily, so your season is live from the first serve. Built by in-house engineers, the points system rewards who you play, how you play, and how often, which means beating your equals and simply showing up both move you up. The season opens with a social, and it all adds up to competition that connects you to the city, not just the standings.

Seasons and Divisions
We run four seasons a year, for two months at a time, and each closing with a Flex Final Four playoff. Every division champion qualifies for the annual title held in the fall. Three divisions keep matches honest, and while you can play anyone in any division at any time, you are ranked and rewarded within your own. Divisions include 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+

Format
Matches are flex-scheduled: you coordinate directly with your opponent to find a time and place that works for both of you. Play is best of three sets, with a 10-point super tiebreak deciding the third. The winning player submits the result, and points update by the next morning. After each match you rate your opponent on punctuality, ease of coordination, and sportsmanship, kept private and reviewed only by MRC admins.

Qualifying Prizes
Play at least five matches against at least four different opponents to qualify for the Flex Final Four, a single-elimination playoff among the top four in each division. Champions earn a custom MRC season champion kit, an invitation to join the Club, and a spot in the annual final four. Runners-up and wildcard winners take home gear and gift cards from partners including Wilson, Dunlop, Tennis Warehouse, LMNT, and Miami favorites like Miami Slice, Navi Coffee, and Racquet magazine.
