A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDING MEMBERS

Two years ago, Miami Racket Club was created to bring people together who love the game and value good company. What’s followed has exceeded every expectation. See below to review the historical and upcoming timeline. Thank you to each of you who have helped this come to life.

BUILDING A COMMUNITY BEYOND THE COURT

Since our inception, MRC has evolved into a sanctuary for those who appreciate the nuances of the game and the richness of shared experiences. Our members have engaged in:

Curated Match Play: From competitive tournaments to relaxed rallies, we've fostered an environment where skill meets camaraderie.
Elevated Social Gatherings: Our events have spanned far reaching to private invites, each becoming the backdrop for meaningful connections.
Collaborative Partnerships: Aligning with brands that mirror our ethos, we've enhanced the MRC experience both on and off the court.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR JOURNEY

Fall 2022	Original 3.5 USTA team was formed, including the founding members what became Miami Racket Club
July 2023 \| 15 members	A suggestion to create a brand just for the 15 team members. The logo was placed on the first on-court hat and shirt.
Aug 2023	The website was purchased and the instagram was created
Jan 2024 \| 50 members	The invite-only, membership model was introduced
Mar 2024	Ongoing partnerships were formed with Wilson, LMNT, Therabody, Vacation sunscreen and others
Nov 2024 \| 80 members	Co-hosted our first semi-pro tournament. 64 players, 3 divisions, $10K prize money
Feb 2025	MRC Academy was formed - our nonprofit - and signed our first two players: 7th ranked junior in the US and recent D1 graduate.
Mar 2025 \| 105 members	Co-hosted the Miami Slice Open, an invite only doubles tournament and event exclusive merch for 30 players at the Ritz Carlton KB. Our first community colab
Apr 2025	Introduced the Miami Racket Club Invitational - Miami's only hard court prize money tournament. 80 players, 5 divisions, $11.5K prize money, 10 brand partners
